Kapalua - Owana Salazar

ʻAlohi i ka la hele ma Kapalua
Pa mai ka makani kolonahe
He lei aloha ke kani o na manu
I ke kai neʻe neʻe mālie

ʻOhuʻohu ʻōpua ilikai Kapalua
Me na pua roselani a o Maui
I wili ʻia me ka maile aliʻi
O na pua he moani ke ʻala

He mele he inoa o Kapalua
He ʻāina puʻili lehulehu
E ku ʻiu ʻiu o Puʻueke
Me na wai kaulana o Puʻukukui

Shimmering in the setting sun at Kapalua
The wind blows gently by
The song of the birds is a lei of aloha
By the gently lapping sea

The clouds adorned as with leis on the horizon at Kapalua
With the heavenly roses of Maui
Entwined with the royal maile
The flowers, a wind-blown fragrance

This is a song for Kapalua
A land that embraces the multitudes
Puʻueke appears in its lofty presence
With the reknowned waters of Puʻukukui
