Source: This song tells the exploits of the three paniola from Hawaiʻi, Ikua Purdy, Archie Kaʻaua and Jack Low who competed in the 1908 Wyoming rodeo. Purdy was named World champion and Kaʻaua placed 3rd. They were inducted into the Rodeo Hall of Fame in 1999. Translator unknown
